This is a great dessert or breakfast dish. It's delicious and has the added appeal of rugged outdoorsiness that appeals to young children.
1 1/2 cups Bisquick
1/4 cup milk
1-2 mashed bananas
1/3 cup sugar
Remove the top and label from a coffee can and wash thoroughly.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into the can, filling it about two-thirds full. Carefully place the can on the edge of your campfire to bake. Use a clamp-on pot gripper to turn the can occasionally. Remove it form the fire when the top is golden brown, usually about 30 minutes. Allow the bread to cool slightly, then dig in and enjoy with a spoon or fork! Experiment with other fruits and berries.
